Homemade Salad Dressings

Homemade Vinaigrette


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced scallions
  • 1/4 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients. Whisk briskly. 

Notes

When possible choose organic ingredients  
Choose one from each list below and combine for a quick & tasty new dressing
Oil Options
 Avocado Oil, Walnut Oil, Almond Oil
Vinegar Options
 Golden Balsamic, Lime Juice, Sherry Vinegar
Additions
 Chopped Fresh Herbs (rosemary, dill, basil, parsley), Dijon Mustard,  Spices (smoked paprika, cumin, turmeric) 
 
To make creamy dressing, use plain yogurt or avocado
